'Colonia Shop Bikes' - is taken from the back of a motorcycle repair shop in the 'Roberto-Gonzalez' colonia (neighborhood) of Chinandega Nicaragua. Recycle & re-use flourishes in this area with many repair businesses.  This shop is off a brick paver street wher people sell different things out of their homes - need motor oil, just a few houses down, groceries in the day & dinner at night - several local options within a couple minutes walk. Next door, my wife's family sells 'pop-cyclies', plantains and other fruits from their 'finka' (farm/ranch). I bail showered on the other side of that wall right next to the dirt-floor kitchen. It is a very social atmosphere with trucks, horsecarts, overloaded bicycles and motorcycles passing by..
