Taken this morning. Had to wait a long long time for the clouds to clear a bit. Sunset sky behind was taken prior.

May need to tone down color a bit – this is the actual color I got from the HDR (no color enhancements). 2nd image shows vibrancy cut down about 34%

On Sat had an old friend drop by and two old really good friends on Sunday. Really neat and interesting to see them. Jenny said I must be ‘closing a loop’ :)

At a show recently someone asked me to create a puzzle of of one of my pieces to ‘sell’. Was just toying with the idea and came across a couple sites that will do online puzzles from a picture. So I tried it and thought I’d share one with you :)

It took me 9:26 to put together at the default settings. Experienced puzzlers may be much quicker. If you try it, let me know what you thought & your time – comment here.

Also if anyone that knows of a provider that will do a more ‘sophisticated’ type (or hand made) with varied shape pieces, let me know ;)

Btw, sold #1 of the ‘Chicago Time’ matted print to a nice couple from Houston this weekend!

Enjoyed meeting everyone out at the Oasis Restaurant this weekend. I appreciate everyone who withstood the heat to browse my artwork and chat*. Many had seen me at other events around Texas and recognized my from online. I may just have to try it again this weekend since I’ve pretty much decided to wait until August to head back out to Colorado for the Salida show ;)

* Didn’t actually melt Friday at setup and made it through the heat ;) I setup in the back area so I could setup my tent and everything, but that asphalt was brutal.

GMC truck & tractor are from Leadville Colorado, and the the other truck is somewhere in central New Mexico…

Some of these just don’t look right in small jpegs – keep in mind I’m targeting these for large canvases (not the screen) and the color & texture doesn’t translate well sometimes :)
